Statement to voters
I'm passionate about tackling plastic waste and littering, as well as sourcing locally-grown produce - I want to empower people to grow and pick their own fruit and vegetables so we have more resilient supply chains.

We're lucky to enjoy green spaces in parklands and surrounding fields in Churchdown and across the county, but they need community input and sensitive management given flood risk and the biodiversity crisis. Similarly, we need more robust and reliable public transport options given Churchdown's rural location - the closure of the M5 bridge through 2022 had significant traffic implications for St Johns and Innsworth. We could be more ambitious in improving accessibility for commuters to nearby towns.
Outside of the Green Party, I work as a textile artist, and frequently organise community exhibitions as part of an active group.
