She attended Chi High for Girls. Catching the train from Bognor to school, looking out at orchards, fields, paddocks, beautiful countryside, she fell in love with West Sussex/Arun area. Life took her to London, Brighton and even New Zealand with her two sons. Eventually she came back to Sussex but has been dismayed to see beautiful buildings and land replaced with hideous eyesores. Anita’s credentials/beliefs/actions Worked in the organic food sector for approximately 12 years, and is a passionate believer in sustainable farming and caring for our environment. Anita is multi-talented - a graphic designer and illustrator who is also grounded and practical having trained as a joiner and worked for a community food project in Hackney as delivery driver, shed & shelf builder, shed decorator, and sales person. Her managerial skills transformed an ailing organic health shop and cafe into a thriving community-based centre. As a Trustee of Newington Green Traders Association I worked alongside other local shopkeepers the police and Islington councillors to install a radio-link system for local businesses. This made the whole area much safer for shopkeepers and shoppers alike, and is still in place today

Motivation for Standing Representing local people for the Green Party in any form would be a ‘dream come true’. I’d like to be a councillor to stand up for flora, fauna, and strong equal communities. I work hard for what I believe in (this is why I’ve worked in jobs that are community serving, emotionally fulfilling but financially poor).
