This election is about who will make practical decisions on housing, public services, neighbourhood safety and the future direction of our city. It is about steady leadership - not protest politics.

In Southend, Labour made five fully funded local pledges at the last election - and delivered all five. That record shows that when we make commitments locally, we keep them.

As a constituency resident and Digital Infrastructure Engineer, I believe in careful planning, responsible finances and public services that work for everyone. I want Southend to continue investing in our communities, protecting essential services and planning for long-term prosperity - not returning to short-term cuts or divisive politics.

With major changes ahead, including new regional powers and local government reorganisation, St Luke’s needs strong, sensible representation focused on stability, fairness and real-world delivery.
