I moved to Swindon in 1987 and I have lived here happily with my family since then.

Full statement

I enjoyed a successful career as an ‘Economics and Business Studies’ teacher, Head of Sixth Form and latterly Secondary Deputy Headteacher of a large Secondary School. My first job was at St Joseph’s School on Nythe Road.

In recent years I’ve become more involved in volunteering and community work. I’m a member of the North Swindon Leisure and Libraries Trust.

I’ve been out and about with Councillor Tom Butcher, in Stratton St Margret and South Marsden, we have been litter picking and tree planting. We have also been talking to hundreds of people about what they want and issues that need raising with the council.
