Born and raised in Swindon, Marianne has served as a parish councillor for Badbury Park since 2023 and Borough Councillor for Liden, Eldene and Park South since 2024. A psychotherapist and NHS CAMHS lead, Marianne also champions vulnerable young people as vice chair of the council's Corporate Parenting Board. Outside work, she is a keen swimmer, recently swimming 25,000 metres for Prospect Hospice, and is a devoted dog and cat lover.
