I’m standing to be your councillor because I believe our area deserves someone who will listen, act, and stand up for residents.

I was born in Rochdale, raised in Deeplish, and have lived and worked locally for most of my life. This isn’t just where I’m standing — it’s my home.

Over the past few years, I’ve been actively working in the community, raising issues that matter to residents, including:

Ongoing planning breaches affecting Shawclough residents
Road safety concerns near local schools
Dangerous footpaths and poor road conditions
The need for better communication and accountability from the Council

Too often, residents tell me they feel ignored or that nothing gets done. That needs to change.

If elected, my priorities are simple:

Fix the issues that affect everyday life in our area
Ensure residents’ concerns are properly heard and acted upon
Push for real accountability from the Council
Work with the community to deliver practical solutions

This campaign isn’t about politics for the sake of it — it’s about getting things done for our community.

At the last election, we came within 131 votes of second place. This time, with your support, we can go further.
