Statement to voters
I first moved to Woodley in 1959 when my parents moved from London, and was a pupil at The Forest School until moving on to Reading College to study Business Studies.
Full statement
After qualifying from Reading Technical College, I enjoyed a long career in Finance before a career change into Hospitality. In 2002 I moved to France where I taught basic English to Primary School children , providing a grounding in English before they progressed to secondary education. In 2006 I returned to care for my elderly parents and have lived and worked in the community ever since. In 2018 I was elected to the Town Council, and have served on the Planning and Community Committee and until May 2023 was Chair of the Leisure Services Committee together with many working parties. I was also a Trustee with Citizens Advice, Wokingham for almost 4 years. I respectfully, therefore, ask for your support to elect me as one of your Borough Councillors so that I can represent the interests of residents in Loddon Ward and help get value from the services we all rightfully deserve from Wokingham Borough Council
