This is a pivotal moment for our community to unite and build a brighter future.

Raised in Grasmere, I am deeply invested in the well-being of Westmorland and Lonsdale and have always been a strong advocate for our region, dedicated to strengthening our communities.

My focus is on unlocking local potential, backing our farmers, defending and protecting our environment, enhancing education, and improving connectivity and access to healthcare.

My wide experience - working locally, serving our country, and contributing to Central Government - equips me to understand and address both local and national issues.

People: Supporting our farmers and enhancing food security is crucial. I will improve rural infrastructure, strengthen NHS facilities, and champion local values and community initiatives, ensuring that our way of life is preserved and enhanced.

Prosperity: The aim is to overcome the negative planning culture by fostering a varied economy and enhancing local education and connectivity, where we can create new opportunities and drive economic growth.

Place: Community-focused housing development, prioritising road maintenance, and balanced tourism are key aspects of our plan. My commitment is to protect the natural beauty of our area, including our National Parks.

We have lacked a voice for nearly two decades that delivers real change. It’s time for action and a voice that matters on the national stage.

Having grown up here, attended school here, and worked locally, I will bring a unique perspective to addressing our community needs.

Together, we can make Westmorland and Lonsdale a place where everyone can live well and thrive.
