Full statement

She is currently working in a Students' Union to help young people campaign for change. In her spare time, she co-chairs the Green Students Committee for the Young Greens where she pushes for policies that benefit students. "I am standing as your candidate because I want to give people the choice to vote for a party that is not afraid to challenge the status quo and ensures that the government responds to systemic issues in society, particularly the cost-of-living and climate crisis. The NHS deserves better. As your MP, I would advocate for the NHS to be protected against privatisation, and that other essential public services are financially supported. I also believe that workers deserve better. I am a proud advocate for the four-day working week, compensating social care, taxing the top 1%, and reducing social inequality. The climate crisis is a real threat, and the government should be treating it as such. If elected, I promise to push against any new fossil fuel projects, and support investments in renewable energy and house insulation projects. I would advocate for the protection of green spaces and improvement of water quality. Students have repeatedly been let down over the past 14 years. Maintenance loans are not rising with inflation, and students are working more than ever to cover their living costs. This is having a significant impact on students from lower-income backgrounds. I would support students by pushing for a fairer tuition model, a £15 minimum wage, and votes at 16. Housing is becoming a luxury, especially for students. I would fight for renters by advocating for no eviction faults, introducing rent caps to tackle soaring rent costs, and improving renter rights.  Trans healthcare is inaccessible, and people with disabilities face structural prejudice. I promise that I would call out oppression and challenge policies that would disproportionately impact different communities. Vote for the Green Party on 4th July for Real Hope and Real Change.
