Statement to voters

Robbie, originally from Kent, was raised by his single-parent mum and grandad, who served in the Second World War.

Full statement

He attended his local Catholic primary school, where he benefitted from free school meals. Robbie passed the 11+ and attended his local grammar school, ending up as Head Boy. He went on to obtain a first-class degree in Geopolitics from Royal Holloway University in 2015, the first in his family to do so.

Before getting involved in politics, Robbie had a career in tourism which saw him give many tours of London and run a £2 million summer programme for international students.

Today, Robbie is a local councillor and works as Chief of Staff in Parliament to the Chairman of the Conservative Party, The Rt Hon Richard Holden.

On Valentines Day this year, Robbie got engaged at the top of Big Ben to Leah.
