Statement to voters
"Hi, I’m Abigail Smith, I'm excited to announce that I am standing for Northfield Ward in the by-election on July 4th.
Full statement
Following the resignation of the Labour councillor, I am determined to bring positive change and strong representation to our community. Here are some of the key issues I will focus on:
Protecting Our Heritage and Parks: I am committed to preserving our local heritage, such as the Kings George V pub, and safeguarding our green spaces like Manor Farm Park from unwanted development.
Tackling Crime, Drugs, and Gangs: I will work closely with the police to tackle crime, gangs, and antisocial behaviour in our area, ensuring a safer environment for all residents.
Campaign to Keep It Weekly: I will campaign to maintain weekly bin collections and keep our area clean and tidy, so everyone can have pride in where they live.
Together, we can make Northfield a better place to live. Your support is crucial, and I look forward to meeting many of you over the coming weeks.
Vote for me on July 4th for a brighter future for Northfield."
