Statement to voters
For the past 20 years, I've had the privilege of calling Chesterton home and now I’d like the opportunity to serve our community as your local District Councillor.

That’s why I’m delighted to be standing in the upcoming district council by-election backed by the local Liberal Democrats.
I’m originally from America, and after moving to Chesterton with my husband Lee, we raised our children here. They attended Chesterton Primary School and Deer Park School, and many of you may know them from their time working at Tesco on Chesterton Lane!
I’ve spent my career in both the public and private sectors, including serving as an officer for Cotswold District Council, running my own business and working in waste management which is helpful for making sure the bins are collected!
These experiences have given me a strong understanding of the challenges our community faces, be that supporting a family by putting food on the table or the challenges people face running a business. I understand our community because I’ve experienced many of the issues myself that people worry about.
As former Chair of Governors at Chesterton Primary School and a current Town Councillor, I’ve worked hard to serve our community. Now, I want to bring that experience to the District Council to make Chesterton an even better place to live.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing my priorities for the future and look forward to meeting as many of you as possible to hear what matters most to you. In the meantime, please feel free to get in touch with any questions.
