My name is Lewis Glynn and I am standing as your Green Party candidate in Dartford West for the 2025 Kent County Council elections.

I am a lifelong resident of Dartford West. I was lucky enough to attend both West Hill Primary School and Dartford Grammar School, before I worked at The Mick Jagger Centre to play my part in promoting arts and culture in our town. And I have the immense privilege of chairing the Dartford Township Choir – a community choir devoted to bringing people together and spreading happiness through singing.

The spirit of Dartford was built on creative glory. I envision a society built on a compassionate cultural economy, tied together through a celebration of our heritage and a promotion of the arts. We have a lot to be proud of, and it’s time we celebrated who we are, with a renewed sense of optimism into a future where we can flourish together.

Dartford West stands as the frontier to London and our residents are tackling not only congestion and pollution, but the burden of ULEZ. As residents of Kent, we will not be dictated to by London. People should not suffer through the actions of others. I will bring residents into the conversation through Citizens Panels – these are issues best solved together.

Your voice is fundamental to your future. I will always preserve, protect and promote your democratic rights, while others wanted to take these from you. After years of establishment inaction and failure, I offer the chance of a hopeful alternative future, for everyone. I am ready to stand as your representative, to fight a campaign of collaborative community-driven change. I devote myself to every resident of Dartford West. I will be a strong, independent voice on Kent County Council, driven only by you. For too long have we lived in the shadow of negativity, it’s time to be proud of who we are and bring back hope for a more optimistic future.

I am here to tackle local issues that affect local people in our local community. Everyone deserves the chance to build a better future for themselves and their family.
