Joe is from Kenilworth, he went to Clinton School, as did his son Alex.

In a varied career, he worked at the Lion and was the elected Treasurer of the National Union of Students.
But Joe is best known from when he was National Campaign Manager for Stop HS2, giving expert evidence to seven parliamentary committees, setting up protection camps. and walking the whole proposed route.
Joe said, “I am absolutely committed to making Kenilworth a better place for us all. I started campaigning for Kenilworth while still at school, My feasibility study on reopening Kenilworth railway station was discussed by County Council! I hope people will appreciate that while we didn’t win on HS2, I put in the work in for Kenilworth over many years, without standing for election to the council. When I did finally decide to stand for council elections in 2023, 27% of people in St John’s voted for me. It won’t take much more than that to get elected this time, and I hope you know that if elected to County Council, I’ll work hard for you and keep you well-informed all year round.”
