My children grew up here – from pre-school to secondary – and our family life is rooted in this community: the morning school runs,
nativity plays at the church, school events, and the strong sense of community that comes with putting down proper roots. My parents rest at Burford Church. This isn’t just where I live, it’s where I belong.

Community-First Representation
As a brain tumour survivor and a mother, life has taught me that a strong community isn’t just a "nice-to-have"—it’s a lifeline. I also believe in leadership that shows up. When our water mains failed recently, I worked alongside our MP, Charlie Maynard, to get bottled water to neighbours and set up the water station at Burford school.

That is the kind of "sleeves-rolled-up" representation I promise to bring to Burford.

I am a bridge-builder.
In my professional life, I specialise in creating "pitchfork-free" zones—spaces where people with different views can come together to find common ground. Whether I was working with the Government following the Grenfell Tower tragedy or scrutinising local services, my focus has always been ensuring that the people at the heart of the issue are actually heard.
