Zvikomborero Chihoro is standing to represent Rush Common ward because he believes local people should have a real voice in the decisions that shape their community.

He has lived in Lambeth for three years and calls it home. He moved here from Birmingham with his best friend of 18 years, and though he lost him last year, the community around him only made him feel even more rooted here.

He loves Brixton’s diversity and the everyday connections that make it special, from local businesses to walking his two dogs in Brockwell Park. He wants to make sure everyone can enjoy the park, as well as the events and festivals held there, without being priced out.

Zvikomborero has spent his career in social value and social impact, helping businesses create opportunities for young people and those facing barriers to work. He wants to bring that experience to support residents, protect green spaces, and make Brixton a place where everyone belongs.
