I love Highworth! Here are my 5 pledges

1/ Invest in nature
I will campaign to improve footpaths, invest in cycle routes and transform half of the old Highworth Golf Course into a nature reserve, so we can all enjoy our countryside.

2/ Sort out the roads
Labour has a 4-year plan to fix our roads including the Fox Roundabout, Swindon Road, Grove Hill and Park Avenue.

3/ Raise the standard on council homes
We are investing £250 million in Swindon's council homes to tackle the legacy of damp, mould, and poor conditions.

4/ Be serious about services
Labour is transforming council services for the better while getting costs back under control after years of Tory chaos. I will work with our health and education leaders to ensure services remain fit for the future.

5/ Make green choices
Labour is switching to greener bio fuels, cutting the CO2 emissions of its 675 bin lorries and other vehicles by up to 90 per cent. I will continue to help residents get solar panels to cut energy bills.
