I am standing in the local elections to give the people of Dukinfield an opportunity to vote for positive change.

That change is the Green Party.

The Green Party puts the people first, committed to a fair society with improved opportunities and strengthened rights for everyone; a more just society that holds exploitative corporations accountable for their actions; and of course, a green society that invests in renewables, lowering our emissions, and ensuring our national energy security.

While Central Manchester has become one of Europe’s fastest growing city economies, the boroughs of Greater Manchester are struggling to feel the benefits of this growth. As a Tameside resident, I want to see our potential unlocked too, with towns that thrive, not just survive.

As your Councillor for Dukinfield, I will work tirelessly to help our town flourish, calling for investments that improve wellbeing and create a
healthier, and greener community. I will advocate with integrity, representing residents’ best interests and voicing concerns effectively to the council. And I will champion community-led action, backing important local projects that bring people together and create lasting impact. With the historic victory of Green MP Hannah Spencer in Gorton and Denton, the message is clear: Tameside wants change. So let’s turn Tameside Green.
