Statement to voters
I’m Stewart Holroyd, and I am standing to be your local Labour councillor for Weoley and Selly Oak.

I work as a caseworker, helping residents deal with real-life council issues, from planning applications, to securing the right SEND support, to resolving long‑running housing problems.
I am standing because I want to put my knowledge and experience to work for our community, and help people where I live.
My priorities for Weoley and Selly Oak are:
Ending the bin strike by pushing for a fair and lasting resolution. It has gone on for far too long. Residents are fed up, and they deserve a reliable service.
Cleaning up fly‑tipping so our streets and green spaces are safe, tidy, and somewhere people can take pride in.
Fixing pothole‑ridden roads to make our streets safer for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians alike.
I am standing alongside Dr Kiran Gulia. Together, we are a strong local team focused on getting things done.
