Jamie Anderson's policies
Statement to voters
Over the 10 years that I've lived in Byker, I have been hoping to see councillors who would understand the challenges we have with anti-social behaviour and housing standards.
Full statement
The Greens are working hard on this and I want to help them do more.
I believe that the Green Party's values on property standards and community policing, which focus on increasing social housing, investing in affordable local transport and reversing cuts to police budgets - would make a huge difference to the lives of people living in Byker and Newcastle.
That is why I am standing as a local councillor on May 7th for Byker ward, to help make Byker a safer, cleaner and more affordable place for both residents and businesses to live and thrive!
