Statement to voters
I am standing as a Green Party councillor in Banbury Cross and Neithrop because I am passionate about doing the best for our local area.
Full statement
Having listened to many Banbury locals, I understand the following as key areas of concern:
• terrible road surfaces and potholes,
• keeping and improving the Horton Hospital,
• empty shops on out Highstreet and in Castle Quay shopping centre
• struggling with capacity in our schools for growing numbers of children
• poorly planned roadworks
• a lack of activities, places and spaces for our young people. All of these are key areas of concern for locals and in my capacity as a District Councillor, I promise to work hard with the necessary authorities to tackle these issues.
