Having lived in the area since 2001, Svavar felt a sense of belonging from the moment he arrived. Surrounded by natural beauty and welcoming neighbours, Svavar values the green spaces and the kindness he encounters throughout the community.

In his professional life, Svavar works in IT for a large multinational corporation. He is experienced in building consensus, bringing people together around shared goals, and leading with empathy. Svavar enjoys hearing a range of perspectives and is unafraid to be persistent when it matters.

Svavar considers himself fortunate to live comfortably, and he wants the same security and quality of life for everyone in the community. He believes that life improves for all when people support one another, and that local government has a vital role to play in making everyday life better.
