I am a resident of Moorside who would like to see change to better our community.

I am a former primary school teacher and currently work within Children’s Services where I help serve the needs of families. In this role I see firsthand how lack of funding, a loss of focus on residents and the cost of living crisis can have a real impact on communities. I am passionate about building a better future for all of the residents in our area.

Labour failures in Bury and across the country are letting our communities down. A vote for the Green Party is a vote for hope and voice for real change.

My Priorities for Moorside:

Protect our environment:

• Care for our green spaces and campaign to protect our green belt
• Invest in our roads to repair the many potholes in the area
• Continue to tackle the problem of fly tipping

Invest in our schools and young people

• Increase local SEND provision so every child can thrive and achieve
• Provide more youth services and opportunities to engage in the local community
• Campaign for more mental health provisions for young people

Tackle the cost of living crisis

• Invest in community spaces from libraries, to food banks, to youth centres to allotments - improving access for all
• Prioritise affordable housing
• Champion the many amazing local businesses in our community

An independent voice for change

• Green councillors are not told how to vote
• I will be free to speak up for you and our community, holding the council to account
• I promise to work with a resident focus and listen to the needs of our community
