About Me:
I’m standing to be your local Labour councillor for Abbey because I believe Abbey deserves practical action on the cost of living crisis.

My Background
I’ve spent my career working at the heart of decision-making—advising senior Labour politicians, working in devolved government, and helping organisations navigate complex policy challenges.
Today, I work in the aerospace sector, supporting growth, skills, and world leading research to move this highly polluting sector forward on its net-zero journey—experience I will bring to delivering for Abbey.
Why I’m Standing
Like many people in Abbey, I see both the potential and the pressures in our area:
The need for more genuinely affordable housing.
Pressure on local services and infrastructure.
Concerns about roads, potholes, and day-to-day maintenance.
Making sure new investment reaches every part of our community.
The Labour run council is a national leader in building homes for those who need them most, I want to be part of a group standing up for Cambridge and building rather than blocking.
