Full statement
Paul has worked as a software engineer for many years including for The Office of the Public Guardian (part of the Ministry of Justice) and also HM Courts and Tribunals Service. Through those projects he developed a passion for working for the public good. He also gained first-hand experience of how complex and challenging government work is, and how vital it is to get it right.
He is a long term supporter of Crawley Open House.
“I’m tired of seeing politicians talking about ‘cutting costs’ when ‘costs’ are essential public services like refuse collection, road maintenance, and schools. Three Bridges is the heart of Crawley. It needs people who care enough about democracy to be available, listen carefully to the citizens, and accurately represent their needs at the county level. Me and my fellow Greens are those people.”
This statement was added by Paul Vernon Morgan, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
