In my day job I am exposed to many investments into early stage business working to build a sustainable future, and I can see the genuine excitement and interest across society and the economy in responsible net-zero technologies and innovations.

Furthermore I am absolutely in opposition to Israel's ongoing genocide in Palestine and Lebanon. This brutal campaign must end and we must ensure that money from our local economy is not flowing to the Israeli war machine.

I am a supporter of Trans rights and refute the "gender critical" ideological campaign against Trans people. Those who are transgender deserve to have their identity respected, to be treated with dignity, and to have their rights upheld.

In a previous career I worked as a Runner and Assistant Director in film and television productions across the north, productions which shone a spotlight on our region's outstanding landscapes and talent. I remain greatly passionate about supporting unions and worker's rights.

In my free time I like to run in Darwen's Sunnyhurst Woods, and enjoy playing and teaching tabletop games. I am originally from Newcastle Upon Tyne and have lived in many towns and cities across the north, and advocating for Northern communities is crucial to my politics.
