Statement to voters
I have lived in Stanmore for over 50 years.
Full statement
I worked as a criminal barrister prosecuting and defending. I have been chair of Harrow LibDems. I have also worked as a financial journalist. As a trustee for many years I know how to look after people's money. I am on the Council of one of the Mosaic Synagogues and was recently elected to the finance committee. I know how politics work having been a pundit on BBC during the expenses scandal. Anyone who has been following politics in Harrow will know how appallingly the old parties have handled its finances. Listening on the doorstep I believe the LibDems have a real chance of winning in Canons ward.
