Statement to voters
A resident of Hurst Green for 55 years, I was elected to Oxted Parish Council in 1999 and Tandridge District Council in 2004.
Full statement
Chairman of the former more than once, I also served at Chairman of the District Council for the civic year of 2014-2015. I care passionately about protecting our Green Belt and open spaces for future generations and will oppose any plans brought forward to build on them, as well as improving services for our communities. I have an excellent track record of attendance at Council meetings and work hard to convey the thoughts of the residents of Oxted South. Looking ahead, if re-elected I will: Continue to work to protect the unique ambiance of Tandridge against any and all who would damage it. Work with the relevant agencies for better health provision in Oxted South. Continue working with the agencies of law and order to keep the district and the ward safe with particular reference to drug dealing and petty crime.
