Statement to voters
Matt has been a councillor on Bradford Council since May 2021 - the first Green Party councillor in Bradford South.

He has a track record of working hard for the local community. Matt has demanded more action on fly-tipping, worked with the police to deal with anti-social behaviour and has helped residents with many different sorts of issues. He has worked with local groups to oppose unsuitable developments and called for action to redevelop empty brownfield sites. He has been vocal calling for action to speed up work to reopen Bradford Inter-change Bus Station. When not campaigning in the local community, he works as a self-employed graphic designer and can usually be found walking his dogs.
