I’m hugely excited at the opportunity to bring fresh eyes and new perspectives to local issues, and the chance to serve our local community.

​All local issues are vitally important, though my personal relevant passions, knowledge and experiences mostly relate to appropriate and timely healthcare access alongside sustainable, safe and accessible transport for all residents. I’ve been a healthcare assistant in the NHS for five years, from outpatients to intensive care, and am intimately aware of the importance of community healthcare access, along with the passion of those who deliver it. I strongly believe supporting our health, plus the systems which deliver care, is the most fundamental duty of the council.

​Outside of healthcare, I’ve also worked as a British Cycling and Bikeability coach for schools and local bike clubs, plus as a local delegate for British Cycling National Council. Because of this, I am very familiar with the benefits of safe, accessible and sustainable transport options on health, and on personal and social mobility. Additionally, as a driver and a cyclist, I am acutely aware of what is and is not appropriate infrastructure. These are skills which I know can be utilised to make the most appropriate decisions on a local level.
