Statement to voters
I became a member of the Green Party because I strongly believe in equality, community and the environment.

I have lived in Worthing for 13 years, working locally in health and social care. I currently work in the NHS as an Occupational therapist.
I previously worked in the homeless sector and have seen first hand the impact of the lack of housing for local people- families and people with disabilities living in temporary accommodation out of area away from their families and social networks. We need to do more for our people unfortunately experiencing unstable housing.
I am also passionate about building community spaces in Worthing. I was a volunteer director and fundraiser for the alternative arts venue and social enterprise Cellar Arts Club. I also coordinated and hosted music events One Love Worthing, celebrating diversity and community support groups.
Key Issues I would focus on as a councillor:
- Housing for all – holding developers to account
- Community to build unity and opportunity
- Community wealth development- sourcing investment locally to build our economy.
