I’m standing as your Green Party candidate because I believe politics should start with people — not promises.
Full statement
I grew up in North London and come from a Kurdish background. This community shaped who I am, and I’m committed to giving back to it.
For nearly ten years, I’ve worked in mental health, supporting people in real crisis — not from behind a desk, but face to face. I’ve seen what happens when services are stretched and when communities are overlooked.
That’s why I’m standing.
I will fight for safer streets, better mental health support, and a greener, healthier environment for all.
Most of all, I want every child and young person in Enfield to grow up feeling safe, supported, and valued.
This isn’t about politics as usual — it’s about real care, real action, and a community that no one is left behind from.
