I have connections with Henfield, Cowfold, Shermanbury and Dial Post, but PG - in the middle of them - is what I know best. Having studied Social Policy at university, since concluding my studies I've been involved in a number of parish councillor initiatives and personal activism supporting residents in the villages surrounding me, I would like to apply my experience and knowledge further to the role of county councillor at a crucial time in local government. I have learnt quickly that applying yourself at a local level, and mobilising residents at the right times can initiate change and move things in the right direction. This is one of those times. Being a servant of your community is incredibly rewarding. Being rooted in Sussex I am seeking to usurp this division's history of being solely Conservative and offer my neighbours genuine hope, accountability, and a willingness to work hard to represent and speak up for all of them.
