Statement to voters

Imogen Lysandrou has been fighting for fairness since she was 15, when she wrote an open letter to Michael Gove demanding arts funding be protected in schools.

Full statement

Diagnosed with ADHD in 2010, she knows firsthand how neurodiverse people are let down by education and employment systems that weren’t built for them and she’s determined to change that.

She runs a not-for-profit modelling and talent agency that donates 50% of its income to local, grassroots and community groups; whilst advocating for ethical pay, fair working conditions, and better protections for workers in an industry that has long ignored them without regulations and protections.

Bersted is where she went to school, where she grew up, where her community is. She’s standing here because she knows it and she’s ready to fight for it.
