Statement to voters
"It would be easy to despair of politics these days, but with the country in crisis it matters more than ever who we elect to represent us.
Less than a year after the first two Green Councillors were elected in Trafford, the council has declared a climate emergency and pledged to phase out both single use plastics and the use of glyphosate weed killer. Greens in the room make a real difference and will keep working to protect our local green spaces; improve air quality; demand decent social care and affordable homes; and take effective action on climate change. I have lived in Stretford for fifteen years and am raising a family here. What happens locally matters to me and I would be honoured to receive your vote in 2019."
