Statement to voters
I am standing for Pantiles ward because I care deeply about Tunbridge Wells and want to play a more active role in shaping its future.

Through my work with the Green Weald Alliance and local residents, I have already been engaging with key issues affecting our community, from road safety along Frant Road to the proposed development at St Mark’s and the concerns around Ramslye Farm. I have also been following local issues such as the future of the Colonnade and how it is managed for residents and businesses. I have been acting in this space because these issues matter, but I am now seeking a clear mandate to do more and to represent residents formally.
We need development that is responsible, sustainable, and genuinely aligned with local needs. Building executive homes on green spaces does not solve affordability challenges or infrastructure pressures, and it risks damaging the character and heritage of our area, including important historical assets. I will advocate for a brownfield and vacant homes first approach, protect our green spaces, and ensure that residents have a strong, credible voice in the decisions that affect them.
