I am the Liberal Democrat candidate for your ward.

I have lived and worked in Plymouth all my life and I know the problems Devonport face and the issues that need to be addressed.
As many know Devonport is still re-adjusting to the huge loss of Dockyard employment and all the problems associated with it. Recent regeneration programs may have provided some better quality housing but has it provided the employment and local jobs it promised to bring. My job is to seek answers to many questions arising from where and how exactly the £47 million new deal for communities regeneration program has been spent. Sure there is evidence of some better housing and improved infrastructure but has that enormous level of investment delivered all the employment which it should have done? As your councillor I will tirelessly pursue answers to many questions which I know many local Devonport residents and businesses have been asking and which neither of the two main political parties have seriously attempted to answer.
