Nigel Adams is a British politician serving as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Selby and Ainsty in North Yorkshire since 2010. A member of the Conservative Party, he was Assistant Government Whip from 15 June 2017 to 8 January 2018 and again from 5 November 2018 until 3 April 2019. He subsequently served as Lord Commissioner of the Treasury between 8 January 2018 and 5 November 2018, following a cabinet reshuffle.
