Statement to voters
George Potter is a software developer and University of Surrey graduate who's lived in Guildford for the past eight years. He's also the editor of the My Burpham community page and led the campaign against the closure of Boxgrove Sure Start children's centre. In 2017 he stood as the Liberal Democrat county council candidate for Burpham and Merrow.
George is determined to stand up for local people. "I want to see the return of neighbourhood policing; real action on traffic problems, plus proper road and pavement repairs; and a council that listens to and supports communities rather than ignoring them."
This statement was added by George Matthew Potter, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
