As a local councillor for both Rother and East Sussex and working with parish councils and community groups I must say I have been truly amazed but not surprised at how well our villagers have helped each other. Well done everyone! I have grown up in one of our villages in THIS division, went to school here, worked here and I now live with my wife and three children in Westfield; our eldest child is attending the same primary I attended back in the 1970s! All of the villages that make up Brede Valley and Marsham have similar common issues but vary widely in their character. Throughout my life as a councillor- over 20 years- I have a proven record for dealing with resident’s issues quickly, honestly and efficiently. Even when it isn’t strictly a council matter I will do my best to point you in the right direction. I’ve helped on a variety of projects in our villages; from large grant applications to lowering speed limits and speaking up for residents at all important planning meetings. I will always put residents first and party politics second. I simply like to get things done for residents working closely with community groups and our parish councils!
