I have found a great sense of community spirit and a place where many people are working hard to make sure our city can fulfil its potential. Whether that is making sure that we have clean and beautiful public spaces, or that our schools are run to the best standard that they can be, there is a great number of both professionals and volunteers striving to help others.

The city is facing a lot of challenges. The Council are seeing astonishing budget cuts which makes it hard to maintain crucial front line services, adult social care, child protection and helping the homeless whilst also giving us the cleaning and landscaping services we’ve all come to expect. In addition the communities we are all a part of are having to work harder than ever to remain connected.

Working together I believe that we can continue to see a strong Milton Keynes providing the services that the most in need require as well seeing thriving high streets, local communities and high quality schools for our children. I look forward to speaking to as many residents as possible to hear your thoughts on how this can achieved and working hard with the stakeholders to achieve this. I can’t wait to hear from you and to play whatever role I can in making our community the very best it can be.
