Jenni has lived in Milton Keynes for over 40 years and has been a Councillor or Parish Councillor in Monkston and Monkston Park for 22 years.

She has specialised in housing and planning on the City Council. She’s got the Council to demand more family homes from developers and to include affordable homes to buy as well as to rent in future developments. She helped get funding for a feasibility study for a new balancing lake to reduce flooding. She has also persuaded the Labour Council to prepare for the new Renters Rights Act to make sure that private tenants will be able to get help from the Council from day 1 when it comes in in May. She has got free sessions on money advice and supported the service to advise on reducing energy consumption.

Locally she has tackled a wide variety of issues for residents from school places to housing assessments, litter and graffiti to blocked drains, major street light repairs, adopting land and tracing private owners to get their land maintained.

In her spare time she likes reading detective novels and works at fabric and fibre craft.
