Statement to voters
Vicky Anderson is the Liberal Democrat PPC for Blaydon. She was elected as a local Liberal Democrat Councillor in Gateshead for Dunston Hill and Whickham East in May 2019, winning against Labour.
Local to the North East, Vicky is passionate about the region where she grew up and the wealth of talent and ambition it has to offer. “The North East has long been neglected; with Brexit set to inflict irretrievable damage on the country and the region. I feel proud and honoured to be given the opportunity to represent and give a liberal voice to the people of Blaydon.”
Vicky also believes strongly in creating a fair, open and accepting society for all, and is a passionate advocate and campaigner for equality, LGBTQ+ and women’s rights.
