Statement to voters
Although I am now a “one to one counsellor” I was previously Ex RN, Child care worker, adult social care worker, foster carer and I am still still a single parent of two fine young boys, now grown men.
I am standing as the Independent Leave candidate for Great Yarmouth. It is time to end two party politics and clones of the two major parties. We must start change politics for good and that starts with changing the politicians and how they are chosen. Not through party constituency panels, but by the people. The people need a new choice of candidate. I am standing as the Independent Leave candidate because I firmly believe, for many reasons that this country and its future lay outside the confines of EU regulatory alignment. I believe that our membership of the EU at a net cost of between 9 and 13 billion pounds a year, would be better spent, on educating our children, social health and primary care and infrastructure. As a Great Yarmouth resident I would also look to rejuvenate our fishing industry once we are free of the EU common fisheries policy. I would like this country to be able to trade with the rest of the world under WTO rules, not European quotas and applied tariffs.
It is my firm belief that a clean break Brexit is the ONLY way of achieving these aims.
