I’m a lifelong Battersea resident, born and raised in Wandsworth, and proud to call this vibrant, diverse community my home.

I went to primary school here, and like many local families, I’ve seen both the challenges and opportunities that shape our borough.

I worked as a primary school teacher for nearly thirty years, teaching across all key stages and holding senior leadership roles in state schools across London. My focus has always been on inclusion, raising standards, and ensuring every child, whatever their background, has the chance to succeed.

I’ve built my career on listening, understanding and finding practical solutions. I have learnt how to work with families, schools and local services to get things done. I believe in empathy, collaboration and delivering real results.

I’m standing to be a councillor in Battersea Park ward because I want to give back to the community that shaped me. I want to help build a fairer Wandsworth, where people can continue to access safe, affordable housing, rely on high-quality local services and have real opportunities to thrive.

I’m passionate about education, the arts, community investment and greener neighbourhoods especially the gem that is Battersea Park itself; my own green space and ‘garden’ as a child. I understand the variety and range of pressures people face in our ward and I will always be ready to listen, support and offer solutions.

I bring experience, energy and determination and I’ll be a strong, visible and active voice for our community, working tirelessly to deliver the best possible outcomes for the residents of Battersea Park ward.
