I live with my family in Froxfield and I have lived in the Petersfield and Sheet area for over 25 years. I have been a District Councillor for more than 15 years, serving the communities of Froxfield & Privett, Sheet, Steep, Steep Marsh, Stroud, Colemore and Priors Dean. I have had the good fortune, in my councillor role, to work with many fantastic local community groups like the Rosemary Foundation, Steep Cricket Club, Petersfield Choir, Petersfield Shakespeare Society, Sheet Drop In, Steep Remembrance, Froxfield Horticultural Society and so many more.

I know many of you, and I look forward to meeting many more as I ensure your voice is heard in local government. I have invested my time to protect this area as, like you, I have chosen to raise my family here and I want to continue to enjoy this very special place.

I am honoured to be offered the opportunity to pick up from Russell Oppenheimer as the candidate for you in Hangers'. Despite the Labour government cutting £40m of funding, Hampshire continues to be one of the lowest tax councils in England. This is so important as the cost of living is so high these days; but we also have to continue providing high-quality, essential services. Our families need great schools, healthcare, homes and a continued safe place to grow. As your prospective councillor I will apply all my energies to attaining greater government focus and funding for you, the residents of East Hampshire.
