Statement to voters

Since being elected in 2019 I’ve been working hard for the Hythe. Volunteering to clean up litter, helping residents claim financial support in the pandemic and I’ve fought and won against cuts to the school bus service. This only happened because Labour led the fight, with a number of the Conservatives wanting to axe the service. As the Tories begin a £2 million pound cuts agenda, leadership against this will be key. That’s one of the reasons I cut my allowances (pay) back to 2018 levels. I will continue to fight to protect frontline services over the next 4 years.
