Will Howman's policies
Statement to voters
I am fully committed to representing and serving the people of Barrow and Thingoe with energy, visibility, and dedication.
Full statement
Barrow and Thingoe is a place people are proud to call home. From villages to growing communities, we need investment that keeps pace with change protecting what matters while planning for the future. Too often, residents feel decisions are made without them. I want to change that.
As your councillor, I will focus on the issues that matter most to local people:
- Supporting families through the cost-of-living crisis by pushing for fairer funding and protecting essential services.
*Improving roads, transport, and infrastructure, so people can travel safely and reliably.
*Championing education and young people, ensuring every child gets the support and opportunities they deserve.
*Protecting vital local services, including social care, libraries, and community spaces.
*Giving residents a stronger voice, making sure your concerns are heard and acted upon.
I bring experience of working with communities, building partnerships, and getting things done. I know how important it is to listen, to be visible, and to follow through on commitments.
This election is about choosing someone who will stand up for Barrow and Thingoe every day not just at election time. I am committed to being that councillor: accessible, hardworking, and focused on delivering real results for the community.
Together, we can build a fairer, stronger future for Barrow and Thingoe.
