I've been a Hillside Borough Councillor for nearly 7 years, and am also a Town Councillor and have served as the Mayor of both Wokingham Borough and Earley Town.
Full statement
I lived in Lower Earley for 42 years, attended the University of Reading as a mature student and my three children all went to local schools. I worked for 23 years before retirement for a national charity.
I believe national government, regardless of party, have failed to understand and address the realities of everyday lives. Locally, I've seen what damage twenty years of Tory leadership has done, and I'm proud about how hard the Liberal Democrats are working to create a fair and inclusive community for all.
