Many of my grandchildren attend schools within Wokingham Borough. I have been a Borough Councillor for 5 years and I am currently the Executive member for active travel, transport and highways, a sector that I have worked in for over 43 years. I continue to keep pace with the changing world of transportation and highways to help with my role on the council.

I have been an active member of Winnersh Parish Council for over 6 years. My hobbies are climatology, walking, cycling and Reading Football Club, who I have supported since attending my first game with my dad in 1968. Locally, I am the coordinator of the Winnersh and Sindlesham Community Speed Watch, actively take part in the annual litter pick and the Winnersh Community Fete, and I have arranged the creation of two wildflower areas.

I like to meet my residents within the ward and assist them as much as possible to make their lives better. I am very concerned about the impacts of Climate Change and the effect that this will have on our daily lives and the local environment. The Lib Dems are taking many actions to ensure we build not only a thriving future but a greener future for the borough.
